The Managing Director (MD) is responsible for providing strategic, financial, and operational leadership. The MD works closely with the Board of Directors to establish long-range goals, strategies, plans, and policies. This role oversees all business operations / sites, ensures fiscal sustainability, and fosters a high-performance culture aligned with the company’s core values and vision.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is required. A Master of Business Administration (MBA) or equivalent executive qualification is highly preferred.

Minimum of 10–15 years of progressive corporate experience, including at least 5 years in a senior executive leadership role (e.g., CEO, COO, CFO, or VP). In the motor industry .

Demonstrated success in scaling operations, driving revenue growth, or leading successful organizational transformations.

Excitant System skills and a good understanding of technology and its applications, to ensure timeous and accurate management information.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Governance

Translate the Board of Directors' strategic goals into actionable, measurable operational plans.

Provide regular, transparent updates to the Board regarding company performance, market risks, and strategic growth opportunities.

Ensure full compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, statutory, and ethical standards.

Operational & Financial Management

Oversee the company’s financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, resource allocation, and cost-control measures.

Direct day-to-day operations across all departments to maximize efficiency, productivity, and profitability

Identify, evaluate, and mitigate structural, financial, legal, and reputational risks to the organization.

Team Leadership & Culture

Hire, mentor, and evaluate the executive leadership and senior management team.

Build a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing workplace culture that promotes accountability and professional growth.

Ensure organizational design and staffing levels support overall business objectives.

Stakeholder & Market Relations

Act as the primary public face and spokesperson for the company to enhance its industry reputation.

Develop and maintain strategic partnerships with key clients, investors, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
