About the Role
This is a senior leadership role for a commercially-minded, results-driven executive ready to take strategic and operational ownership of a growing business. You'll be responsible for driving revenue growth, strengthening client relationships, leading a high-performing team, and expanding the organisation's presence across African markets.
Key Result Areas
Strategic Leadership — Define and drive the overall business strategy, ensuring alignment with long-term growth objectives
Financial Performance — Own full P&L accountability; drive revenue growth, manage costs, and ensure sustainable profitability
Business Growth — Identify and execute on new business opportunities, market expansion, and revenue-generating initiatives
People Leadership — Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team; foster a strong performance and growth-oriented culture
Client Relationship Management — Maintain and grow key client relationships, ensuring high levels of service delivery and client retention
Operational Management — Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance across the business
Governance & Risk — Ensure sound corporate governance, regulatory compliance, and effective risk management
Stakeholder Engagement — Report to and engage with the Board/relevant stakeholders on business performance and strategic direction
Market Positioning — Strengthen the organisation's reputation and competitive positioning within its sector and target markets
Requirements
A demonstrable track record of growing businesses, with actual, measurable results
Strong working knowledge of the IT/SAP landscape
Strong leadership ability — able to build, inspire, and manage high-performing teams
Solid sales ability and a commercially-driven, growth-oriented mindset
Experience operating in or servicing African markets
A genuine growth mindset — resilient, adaptable, solutions-focused
Background within the recruitment/resourcing industry would be a strong advantage
A relevant tertiary qualification is advantageous, though not essential given the right track record
Based in, or willing to relocate to, Johannesburg
