Organisational Design Governance
- Design and maintain organisational design related policies and SOPs for approval.
- Ensure that all organisational design processes are in line with the approved policies.
- Ensure that all HRIS input that impact organisational structure are applied and executed as per SOP.
Develop and Implement Organisational Design Processes and Systems
- Develop and implement resource optimisation frameworks related to organisational design and development.
- Facilitate the alignment and integration of organisational design and job evaluation initiatives.
- Ensure that best practice methods are implemented with regards to org design and development initiatives.
Organisational Structure Management
- Design, develop and implement functional and operational structures.
- Manage the compilation and submission of accurate approved and budgeted organisational structure as required.
- Ensure that the organisational design architecture that guides the organisational structure is implemented.
Oversee Organisational Design Databases and Records
- Ensure that organisational design records soft and hard are properly managed.
- Ensure that the master database of job profiles and job evaluation is in place and continually optimised.
Job Evaluation Process Management
- Ensure that all job evaluations are in accordance with the Job Evaluation and Design Policy.
- Liaise with stakeholders and share information and processes pertaining to job evaluation and grading.
Job Profile Development and Management
- Ensure that job profiles are developed, managed and updated according to best practice.
- Conduct job analysis and facilitate the development of job profiles with subject matter experts.
Policy Review and Implementation
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policy, procedures and processes.
- Keep up to date with effective policy and practice execution strategies.
Stakeholder Management
- Facilitate and manage communication with relevant internal and external stakeholders and proactively and progressively manage the relationships.
- Communicate with all levels of stakeholder contact.
Reporting
- Prepare and submit regulation reports as and when required to provide progress updates and/or inform management decisions.
- Develop reports or policies or procedures and guide the process through the alignment of the documents to the overall RAF's strategy.
People Management
- Ensure the sourcing, development and retention of a high-performance team.
- Manage staff in the department to ensure that they achieve their objectives in line with the strategic objectives of the RAF.
- Allocate, direct, motivate and evaluate subordinates to help them achieve their individual goals.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree/ Advanced Diploma in HR/ Behavioural Science/ Organisational Design/ Development/ Effectiveness/ Industrial Psychology related qualification.
- Postgraduate in HR/ Behavioural Science/Organisational Design/ Development/ Effectiveness/ Industrial Psychology related qualification advantageous.
- Relevant 6 - 8 years' experience in Organisational Development environment of which 2 years must have been on management or supervisory level.
