- iStore is the home of everything Apple, and Africa's largest Apple Premium Reseller. With a retail footprint of more than 40 physical and online stores across Africa that provide expert advice, Apple Authorised Repairs, Business, Education, training and technical support for anything and everything Apple.
- The iStore Management in Training MIT Programme is designed to build the next generation of iStore leaders. It is aimed at high-potential individuals who already have some experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or another fast-paced operational environment and are ready to take the next step into management.
- Participants will gain hands-on experience across the key areas required to successfully lead an iStore. The programme combines practical in-store training, mentorship, workshops and formal assessments to build your management and operational capabilities.
You'll gain exposure to
- Store Operations: Daily operations, scheduling, standards and problem-solving.
- Customer Experience & Sales: Customer engagement, sales performance, KPIs and coaching.
- Finance & Administration: Cash management, reconciliations, controls, compliance and audit.
- Stock, Tech & Repairs: Inventory management, stock accuracy, shrinkage and the customer repair journey.
- Cellular & Omnichannel: Cellular processes, online fulfilment, collections and digital customer journeys.
- People Management: Recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, feedback, accountability and performance management.
- Product Knowledge: Apple products, the Apple ecosystem, systems and required learning.
How you'll learn
- On-the-job training in designated iStores, Store Manager mentorship, monthly workshops, product and systems training, practical assignments and competency assessments, supported by a structured training workbook and formal sign-off.
You need to have
- Matric / Grade 12.
- Approximately 2-3 years' experience in retail, hospitality, customer service or another operational environment is advantageous.
- Some exposure to supervising, coordinating or leading others would be beneficial.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
- Willing and able to work retail trading hours.
- Flexibility to work across designated Gauteng stores as required.
- Willingness to learn all aspects of store operations.
