- The Manager: Corporate Affairs will lead the PSSPF's stakeholder engagement, communications, marketing and ESG reporting functions. This is a visible, senior role requiring a confident communications professional who is comfortable operating in a regulated, public-sector environment with active media exposure. The role requires someone who can build and protect the PSSPF's reputational profile while communicating complex financial and regulatory matters clearly to a broad stakeholder base.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in corporate communications, stakeholder management or public affairs
- Demonstrated experience in media relations and managing reputational matters in a public-sector or regulated environment
- Experience in the retirement funds, financial services or public sector industry preferred
- Proven ability to communicate complex regulatory or financial matters clearly to diverse audiences
- Working knowledge of ESG reporting and responsible investment communication advantageous
- Strong written communication skills with experience drafting public statements, member communications and Board reports
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement the PSSPF's stakeholder engagement and communications strategy
- Manage media relations, public statements and the PSSPF's reputational profile
- Implement and communicate the PSSPF's ESG and responsible investment commitments
- Oversee member communications, fund marketing materials and digital channels
- Manage the PSSPF's website and social media presence
- Ensure member complaints response processes are adhered to in collaboration with the Legal function
- Produce and manage content for Board and sub-committee reporting
