Introduction

The main purpose of the position to enhance institutional analytics, strategic reporting, and data-informed decision making. The rationale for this position is to strengthen institutional capacity for business intelligence, performance analytics, data integration, institutional reporting, and strategic analysis.

Desired Experience & Qualification

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum Master’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management or Economics.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in Academic Planning and Data Analytics.
  • 5 years’ Business Analytics experience, and experience at management level will be an added advantage.
  • 3 years’ experience in working with statistical tools and packages (e.g. SPSS).
  • Research experience (both qualitative and quantitative research).
  • Project management experience.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS

  • Computer skills including Querying Language (SQL, Hive, Pig), Scripting Language (Python, MATLAB), Statistical Language (R, SAS, SPSS), and Spreadsheet (Excel).
