Duties & Responsibilities
Duties & Responsibilities – Management Team (Crazy Plastics Kimberley)
- Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to achieve company objectives.
- Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
- Drive sales and achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
- Supervise daily store operations and ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, merchandising, and store presentation.
- Ensure shelves are fully stocked, correctly priced, and products are displayed according to company standards.
- Manage stock receiving, stock control, stock counts, and minimise stock losses.
- Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure accurate daily banking and cash-ups.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
- Manage staff attendance, punctuality, productivity, and performance.
- Coach, train, and support team members to improve performance and customer service.
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently.
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management where required.
- Ensure security procedures are followed to prevent theft and shrinkage.
- Complete administrative duties, reports, and other management tasks accurately and on time.
- Work closely with senior management to achieve operational and financial goals.
- Be willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Lead by example by maintaining professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.
- Ensure the store is opened and closed according to company procedures.
- Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by senior management.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Experience & Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric) certificate (essential).
- Minimum of 3 –4 years' retail management or supervisory experience , preferably in a high-volume retail environment.
- Proven experience leading and managing a team.
- Strong sales-driven mindset with a track record of achieving targets.
- Experience with stock control, stock takes, merchandising, and inventory management.
- Knowledge of cash handling, cash-ups, and retail administrative processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Customer-focused with excellent conflict resolution skills.
- Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
- High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
- Flexible and willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
- Clear criminal record.
