Duties & Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities – Management Team (Crazy Plastics Kimberley)

  • Lead, motivate, and develop the store team to achieve company objectives.
  • Ensure exceptional customer service is delivered at all times.
  • Drive sales and achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
  • Supervise daily store operations and ensure efficient workflow.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping, merchandising, and store presentation.
  • Ensure shelves are fully stocked, correctly priced, and products are displayed according to company standards.
  • Manage stock receiving, stock control, stock counts, and minimise stock losses.
  • Monitor cash handling procedures and ensure accurate daily banking and cash-ups.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health & safety regulations.
  • Manage staff attendance, punctuality, productivity, and performance.
  • Coach, train, and support team members to improve performance and customer service.
  • Handle customer queries, complaints, and returns professionally and efficiently.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, and performance management where required.
  • Ensure security procedures are followed to prevent theft and shrinkage.
  • Complete administrative duties, reports, and other management tasks accurately and on time.
  • Work closely with senior management to achieve operational and financial goals.
  • Be willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Lead by example by maintaining professionalism, integrity, and a positive attitude.
  • Ensure the store is opened and closed according to company procedures.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as assigned by senior management.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Experience & Qualifications

  • Grade 12 (Matric) certificate (essential).
  • Minimum of  3 –4 years' retail management or supervisory experience , preferably in a high-volume retail environment.
  • Proven experience leading and managing a team.
  • Strong sales-driven mindset with a track record of achieving targets.
  • Experience with stock control, stock takes, merchandising, and inventory management.
  • Knowledge of cash handling, cash-ups, and retail administrative processes.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer-focused with excellent conflict resolution skills.
  • Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook).
  • High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
  • Flexible and willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Valid driver's licence will be advantageous.
  • Clear criminal record.
