Start free — we apply for you →- A Private Corporate Game Lodge in Bela Bela is seeking an experienced and professional Management Couple to oversee the full operational management of a small exclusive lodge. This dynamic role requires a couple capable of covering lodge management, kitchen operations, and guiding responsibilities, ensuring a seamless and high-quality guest experience in a private bush environment.
REQUIREMENT
- RSA ID and legal residence essential
- Previous experience in a 4 or 5-Star Game Lodge environment
- Relevant Guiding and Chef qualifications required
- Proven experience in lodge or hospitality management
- Strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage a small team and maintain high operational standards
- Passion for hospitality, guest service, and the bush environment
- Driver's License and own transport essential
- Unfortunately no dependents or pets permitted due to lodge location and operation
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: GUIDE:
- Conduct guided game drives and bush experiences for guests
- Provide engaging and informative wildlife and bush interpretation
- Ensure guest safety during all guided activities
- Assist with guest hosting and create memorable bush experiences
- Maintain and care for guiding equipment and vehicles
- Ensure professional guiding standards are maintained at all times
CHEF
- Plan and prepare high-quality meals for guests
- Manage the day-to-day kitchen operation
- Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, hygiene, and cleanliness
- Manage kitchen stock, ordering, and food requirements
- Cater for guest dietary requirements where required
- Ensure efficient and cost-effective kitchen operations
LODGE MANAGEMENT & SHARED RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the lodge
- Host guests and ensure a personalised, exceptional experience
- Coordinate staff and operational requirements
- Maintain high lodge and service standards
- Assist with general lodge duties as required
- Build strong relationships with guests and represent the lodge professionally
PACKAGE
- R45,000 per month combined salary
- Live-in accommodation provided
