Management Accountant | Permanent | Johannesburg North | CIMA Duties & Responsibilities

Our client is looking for an experienced Management Accountant with at least 5 years of management accounting experience in a gas production industry who will sit at the intersection of finance and commercial decision-making, working with divisional managers and stakeholders across the organisation.

Duties

• Preparing, capturing, and processing Business unit month-end invoices.

• Preparing, capturing, and processing all Business unit costs at month-end to ensure accurate divisional Income Statements.

• Produce the monthly executive package to provide management with relevant information to aid in decision-making.

• Ensuring divisional line managers receive all relevant management information by distributing required reports.

• Produces divisional account reconciliations to ensure that allocation, payments, stock and costing transactions are correct.

• Assist in the annual target process.

• Prepare and present finance presentations.

Job Experience & Skills Required

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12).

• BCom Accounting with Honours.

• Studying towards CIMA will be advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of Management accounting experience.

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Management Accounting.

• Strong knowledge of cost and management accounting.

• Experience in financial reporting and reconciliations.

• Experience working with business processes and cost optimisation.

• Experience with JDE will be advantageous.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Confident and assertive when engaging with stakeholders at all levels.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
