- We're looking for a Maintenance Planner who can keep our production wheels turning smoothly. Your Mission
- Ensure our maintenance operations run like clockwork by providing technicians with the right resources at the right time, coordinating schedules efficiently, and minimizing downtime. In short, you'll be the driving force behind reliable plant performance.
Minimum requirements
- Grade 12 / NQF Level 4
- Valid Driver's License Code B
- Experience in maintenance planning and scheduling
- Experience working with the On-Key Maintenance System
- Knowledge of supply chain management principles
- Background in maize and wheat production
- Strong computer literacy
- Experience in a production or industrial environment
- Clear criminal record
- A proactive mindset with a passion for adding value
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Maintenance Planning
- Utilize the On-Key Maintenance System to effectively plan and manage maintenance activities.
Coordinate and schedule critical maintenance functions, including
- Condition monitoring
- Plant start-ups
- Lubrication programs
- Sensory inspections
- Scheduled component replacements
- Identify and assess potential risks before they impact operations.
- Work closely with maintenance teams to ensure all planned activities are executed efficiently.
Spare Parts and Inventory Management
- Ensure critical spare parts are always available and adequately stocked.
- Assist with the procurement of maintenance spares.
- Manage assets and maintain accurate spare parts records.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure replenishment of critical items.
- Receive, issue, and track spare parts accurately.
- Record all stock movements on the computerized inventory system.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient store environment.
