Maintenance Officer (millwright)

Introduction

An Agritalent client, a leading agribusiness, seeks a Maintenance Officer for the maintainance and repairs of machinery and equipment.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Checking and repairing of machinery and equipment;

• Compliance to safety regulations;

• General administration.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Grade 12;

• Appropriate Trade qualification (RED Seal Millwright Trade Test);

• 4 years post apprenticeship experience.

Excellent communication and language proficiency in Afrikaans & English;

• Good knowledge of occupational health and safety;

• Mechanisation skills;

Physical ability to perform the work;

• Willingness to work long hours;

• Good interpersonal skills;

• The ability to function in a team as well as independently.
