We are seeking an experienced and results driven Maintenance Manager to lead the maintenance function across our operations. This role provides both strategic and operational leadership, ensuring optimal equipment reliability, operational efficiency, and full compliance with health, safety, environmental and food safety standards. This role is responsible for ensuring plant reliability, operational efficiency, regulatory compliance and driving continuous improvement within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement maintenance strategies aligned to business objectives.
- Drive proactive and predictive maintenance programmes to improve equipment reliability and reduce downtime.
- Manage and optimise plant assets, including processing equipment, packaging lines, refrigeration systems, boilers and utilities.
- Monitor and improve maintenance KPIs, including OEE, downtime, MTBF and MTTR.
- Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing maintenance and engineering team.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and food safety standards.
- Manage maintenance budgets, capital projects and cost optimisation initiatives.
- Drive continuous improvement, automation and digital maintenance systems (CMMS).
- Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and contractors.
Qualification & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Additional qualifications in Maintenance Management, Reliability Engineering or Project Management will be beneficial.
- 10–15 years' maintenance experience within a manufacturing, Dairy or within a FMCG environment.
- Minimum 5 years in a senior maintenance leadership role.
- Proven experience managing large-scale plants and driving maintenance improvement initiatives.
