Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and annual servicing of tools, and equipment, ensuring they are in optimal working condition. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from various departments, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment issues, making necessary repairs or arranging for external service providers when required. Perform general handyman tasks, including but not limited to plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, painting, and general building repairs. Respond to building maintenance requests in a timely manner. Maintain an accurate inventory of tools, equipment, spare parts, and materials. Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities, including repairs.
Requirements
Matric Certificate Technical qualification in Facilities/Maintenance/Engineering or related field beneficial Minimum of 2 years' general electrical, plumbing, and/or air conditioning and heat pump repairs and maintenance Hotel or property maintenance experience would be advantageous Knowledge of safe working procedures of electrical tools and equipment Basic hand tools and electrical knowledge Valid Driver's license would be beneficial Preference will be given to candidates from Franschhoek and neighbouring areas
