The Maintenance Administrator perform general store administrative duties, procurement, liaison with suppliers and take responsibility for service scheduling.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Daily reporting on outstanding orders.
- Resolving of invoices after the work has been done.
- Store administrative processes.
- Loading requisitions for parts and services required.
- See to procurement on spare parts, services and repairs.
- Apply focus and pressure to suppliers to deliver purchased parts.
- Resolving of purchase orders and invoicing once parts have been received and installed.
- Preventative service scheduling.
- Store administrative processes.
- Loading of stock codes for maintenance store.
- Updating of store locations.
- Reviewing purchase orders and making sure that they are complete and accurate before approving them.
- Coordinating with vendors to ensure that they deliver on time and meet quality standards.
- Managing inventory levels of materials and supplies, ensuring that there is an adequate supply for operations but not too much so as to go unused.
- Reviewing purchase orders to ensure that they are complete and accurately describe the item being purchased and the price being paid for it.
Desired Experience & Qualification
Grade 12 (essential)
Completed relevant qualification (Beneficial)
±2 year Previous Procurement Experience
Good understanding of the following processes
- Procurement
- Reporting
Knowledge in the following fields
- Store management
- Maintenance procedures
MS Office: Word & Excel
ERP System knowledge
