Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and deploy new applications that meet evolving business requirements.
- Translate requirements into scalable, secure, and cost effective solutions using Power Platform and Custom SharePoint Online.
- Integrate solutions across Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Outlook) and external systems (OpenText ECM, Smart Recruiters).
- Maintain and enhance existing applications, including bug fixes, upgrades, and change requests.
- Act as domain expert for the Microsoft stack (M365, Teams, SharePoint, Power Platform).
- Monitor system performance, availability, and reliability.
- Oversee upgrades, patches and software development lifecycle management activities.
- Drive automation and digitization initiatives across business processes.
- Identify opportunities to optimize workflows using Power Automate, PowerApps, SharePoint, Teams and M365 services efficiently.
- Ensure Microsoft technologies are implemented according to best practices and governance standards.
- Collaborate with business units and operations teams to capture requirements.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, business friendly language.
- Act as a trusted advisor for digital solutions.
- Lead and support solution implementation of projects from design through deployment.
- Ensure delivery within agreed scope, timeline, and quality standards.
- Work closely with business stakeholders, fellow developers, and external partners.
- Ensure all solutions comply with IT governance, cybersecurity, and data protection policies.
- Support compliance requirements, particularly document and communication governance.
- Align implementations with Microsoft security best practices.
Profile
The client specifically requires strong SPFx and senior Power Automate capability, with Power Apps as a secondary requirement.
