Luxury Spa Manager

• An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Spa Manager to lead a luxury 5-star spa in the heart of the Cape Winelands. We are seeking a passionate, hands-on leader with extensive luxury hospitality experience who is committed to delivering exceptional wellness experiences while driving operational excellence and business growth.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience as a Spa Manager within a luxury hotel, resort, or wellness environment
• Internationally recognised qualification ITEC, CIDESCO, SAAHSP, NVQ Level 3, or equivalent
• Accredited Massage Therapy Diploma essential
• Previous experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, stock control, reporting, and revenue targets
• Exceptional knowledge of treatments, therapies, and luxury spa products
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and spa management software
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Professional presentation and a strong focus on customer service
• Experience within the luxury hospitality industry will be advantageous

Duties

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the spa
• Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of therapists and support staff
• Monitor financial performance and ensure revenue and profitability targets are achieved
• Prepare operational and management reports
• Develop and implement innovative treatments, wellness packages, and guest experiences
• Ensure the highest standards of service and guest satisfaction are consistently maintained
• Work closely with senior management to enhance the guest experience
• Manage stock levels, supplier relationships, and product sales
• Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and strategic partnerships
• Maintain the highest standards of professionalism and operational excellence
