*About the Role*
We are currently seeking reliable, experienced, and professional Code 14 Drivers to join our growing team. Based in Atlas Gardens, Cape Farms, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, ensuring adherence to all road safety regulations and company policies.
*Key Responsibilities*
Safely operate Code 14 heavy-duty vehicles and articulated trucks.
Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections meticulously.
Ensure timely and secure delivery of cargo to designated destinations.
Maintain accurate logbooks, delivery notes, and documentation.
Comply strictly with South African traffic laws, safety protocols, and company regulations.
Communicate effectively with dispatch and management regarding route updates or delivery delays.
*Requirements & Qualifications*
Valid South African Driver’s Licence: Code 14 (EC) with a valid PDP (Professional Driving Permit).
Proven verifiable experience driving heavy-duty articulated vehicles.
Sober habits, high levels of reliability, punctuality, and accountability.
Good geographical knowledge of the Western Cape routes (advantageous).
Clear disciplinary and criminal record.
Ability to communicate effectively in English.
