We are looking for an artistic, creative person to join our growing team at Good Shepherd Toys.
The ideal candidate can show us his/her works of (fine) art and/or craft, as being artistic is required for the available function.
We manufacture and sell wooden toys and collectable figures. You will be joining our growing workshop team, and work alongside them in all aspects of manufacturing our toys, with a strong focus on fine-art painting.
This position is best suited to a young person as it is an entry level position. You will be trained on the job and we don't require any specific qualifications; but creative and artistic ability is a must. We speak English in the workshop, so speaking English well is also a requirement.
You will be trained in painting our highly details figures, as well as in doing basic woodworking. It is not necessary to have prior woodworking experience, as you will be trained on the job. We are looking for someone reliable and enthusiastic, who loves working with their hands and making beautiful things.

The position is available per: Immediately.
Salary will be discussed, but will be between R6000-R7000 per month after the probation period. We also pay an additional commute compensation. There is room for growth, should you show aptitude for the work. This is a full time position.
- Hours are Mon-Thurs, 8AM-5PM, and Friday 8AM-12PM.
- Our workshops are based in Theescombe.
- Own transport is a must.
- SA citizenship or a valid work permit is required.
