Experience in a supervisor position in charge of the control of Drivers. Computer literate on MS Office. Knowledge of OH&S Act and legal requirements for transportation of dangerous goods. Duties Ensure vehicles are available when needed. Maintain and manage logistics department daily planning Ensure correct notices and signs as required for dangerous goods are available and displayed on trucks. Liaise with Production and Distribution Danagers to determine transportation needs and priorities. Liaise with sales personnel if delivery commitments cannot be fulfilled. Ensure spot check for vehicle cleanliness and correct PPE worn at all times. Ensure Drivers submit daily vehicle checklist. Escalate any breakdowns to Logistics Manager as and when it happens.
