Logistics Manager

We are recruiting an experienced Logistics Manager for our client, a well-established business operating within the 3PL environment. The role reports directly to the GM and takes responsibility for warehouse, distribution and transport operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage all day-to-day warehouse and distribution operations
- Oversee inbound, storage, inventory, picking, packing, dispatch and outbound distribution
- Manage transport coordination, route planning and delivery performance
- Ensure achievement of client SLAs, KPIs targets
- Maintain stock accuracy and effective inventory controls
- Manage operational costs, budgets and profitability
- Build and maintain strong client relationships
- Lead, coach and manage warehouse and distribution teams
- Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements
- Monitor performance through WMS/TMS systems and operational reporting
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Grade 12 / Matric
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Management, or related field
- A relevant postgraduate qualification will be advantageous
- Minimum 5–10 years’ experience in logistics, warehousing, and distribution
- At least 5 years in a management role within a warehouse/distribution environment
- Experience in a 3PL environment is essential
- Proven experience managing client service levels, warehouse operations, and transport coordination
- Experience with multiple customers, high-volume operations, and performance-driven environments preferred
