Logistics Graduate – Fleeting & Operations
Pace Car Rental is looking for a motivated and organised Logistics Graduate to join our Fleeting & Operations Department, in Kempton Park.
This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in fleet management, logistics coordination, vehicle movements and operational planning within a fast-paced car rental environment.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Fleeting and Operations teams to ensure that vehicles are efficiently allocated, moved, tracked and prepared to meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the daily coordination and movement of vehicles between branches, customers, suppliers and operational locations.
Assist with fleet allocation and ensuring the correct vehicles are available where required.
Monitor vehicle movements and update relevant systems and trackers.
Assist with coordinating vehicle collections, deliveries, transfers and returns.
Support the team with fleet availability and utilisation reporting.
Assist with monitoring vehicle status, location and operational readiness.
Communicate with branches, drivers and internal departments regarding vehicle movements and requirements.
Maintain accurate records and ensure that all fleet-related information is updated timeously.
Assist with identifying and resolving operational or logistical challenges.
Prepare and maintain daily, weekly and monthly reports.
Assist with general administrative duties within the Fleeting and Operations Department.
Work closely with various departments to ensure smooth and efficient fleet operations.
Perform any other reasonable duties required to support the department.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Transport Management, Operations Management or a related field.
Recently graduated or have limited work experience.
Strong numerical and analytical ability.
Excellent organisational and administrative skills.
Good attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
A proactive, solutions-focused approach.
Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Valid driver's licence would be VERY advantageous.
Able to commute to Pomona Kempton Park, daily.
