Logistics Data Analyst

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Suitable and relevant tertiary qualification
• Advanced Excel
• Experience with SQL and ERP Systems
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Google Analytics
• Warehouse experience (4yrs+)
• Pharmaceutical industry experience (3yrs+)

Duties and Responsibilities

• Analyse warehouse, stock, transport and distribution data to identify trends, problems and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare accurate reports and develop Power BI dashboards to give management clear visibility of logistics performance.
• Monitor key performance indicators including on-time deliveries, transport costs, stock accuracy and inventory levels.
• Identify areas where the business can reduce costs, improve efficiency and improve delivery performance.
• Investigate delays, stock discrepancies, logistical disruptions and other operational problems.
• Work with warehouse, transport and other internal teams to identify bottlenecks and implement practical solutions.
• Ensure data from different systems is accurate, consistent and reliable.
• Automate reporting processes to reduce manual administration and improve efficiency.
• Translate complex data into clear, practical recommendations for management.
• Present findings and performance information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support a culture of continuous improvement and data-driven decision-making.
• Ensure all activities comply with Good Warehouse Practices, health and safety requirements and relevant SOPs.
• Participate in problem-solving, training and initiatives that support a high-performance team culture.
