We are looking for an experienced and organised Logistics Controller to join our team and assist with the efficient day-to-day management of our transport operations. Key Responsibilities: • Coordinate and monitor daily truck and driver activities • Plan and allocate loads to vehicles and drivers • Track vehicles and monitor delivery progress • Communicate with drivers, clients and transport teams • Ensure all loads are collected and delivered on time • Follow up on outstanding PODs and delivery documentation • Capture and maintain accurate load and vehicle records • Monitor fuel usage and vehicle performance • Assist with resolving breakdowns, delays and operational issues • Ensure drivers comply with company procedures and client requirements • Provide regular updates to management • Assist with general logistics administration and reporting Requirements: • Previous experience as a Logistics Controller / Transport Controller • Experience in the trucking and transport industry • Strong knowledge of logistics and transport operations • Experience working with trucks, trailers and drivers • Excellent communication and organisational skills • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Computer literate • Strong attention to detail • Able to work independently and as part of a team • Must be reliable, proactive and solution-driven
Experience with long-haul transport and Superlink trucks will be preferred.
