- Measure and write dimensions lengths and diameters on the log
- Tag logs with the customers log tag
- Record logs infield/roadside/depot at clearfell and thinning operations electronic or manual
- Ensure quality control when writing/tagging/capturing
- Adhere to all safety standard procedures
- Complete delivery note for transport loading
- Execute and comply to the applicable BOP's, harvesting and other forest management procedures and all applicable set standards
- Perform other adhoc duties as and when required
Minimum Requirements
- Grade 10
- Log data recorder certificate
- Previous forestry related experience
- Previous log data recorder experience will be advantageous
- Basic safety, Environmental Awareness, Fire Suppression will be advantageous
