Job Specification: Warehouse Loader – Peak Season (Temporary)

Location: Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Eastern Cape Employment Type: Temporary – Peak Season Availability: Immediate Duties & Responsibilities

A busy warehouse operating within the food services/FMCG industry is seeking a reliable, physically fit and hardworking Warehouse Loader to assist with the loading and handling of goods during the peak season. The successful candidate must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment, ensuring that goods are loaded safely, accurately and timeously.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload goods, stock and products onto and off delivery vehicles.

• Assist with moving, stacking and arranging stock within the warehouse.

• Ensure that goods are handled carefully to prevent damage.

• Check products against loading instructions and delivery documentation where required.

• Assist with preparing orders for dispatch and ensuring that the correct goods are loaded.

• Maintain a clean, tidy and organised loading area.

• Follow all warehouse health, safety and hygiene procedures.

• Assist with general warehouse duties as required.

• Work effectively as part of a team to meet daily operational and dispatch deadlines.

Minimum Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12.

• Previous experience in a warehouse, loading, offloading, distribution, food services or FMCG environment is essential.

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling duties .

• Able to work in a busy, fast-paced environment.

• Reliable, punctual and hardworking, with a strong work ethic.

• Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.

• Must be based in Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth) or surrounding areas .

• Must be available to start immediately and commit to a temporary peak-season contract .

• Contactable references from previous employers are essential.
