A small but well-established and reputable insurance brokerage in Musgrave is seeking an LLB/ Law Graduate to be trained for a Junior Insurance Administrator role in their Durban branch. This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-driven, organised, and ready to build a career in short-term insurance — working closely with a Director and building strong relationships with both clients and insurers.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Working alongside the Director to source quotations from insurers for new and existing Commercial and Personal Lines clients
- Liaising with clients and insurance companies — both over the phone and in writing
- Preparing quote requests and checking them once they come back from insurers
- Putting together polished, client-ready quotations
- Issuing new business
- Keeping client records accurate and up to date
- Supporting the team with general sales, insurance, and quotation administration
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Available to start immediately
- Matric and recently graduated with an LLB/ Similar Degree
- A desire and willingness to learn in the short term insurance space
- Insurance admin experience an advantage but not essential
- Based in Berea or surrounding areas
Package & Remuneration
This is a junior, entry level role and training will be provided.
Salary on offer is R8K CTC pm.
