- To assist the Line Borer and Boilermakers with bucket rebuilds, line boring preparation and general workshop duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with line boring equipment setup and preparation.
- Assist with measuring, fitting and removing pins and bushes.
- Prepare components for welding, grinding and repairs.
- Assist with bucket rebuild and refurbishment work.
- Operate basic workshop tools under supervision.
- Assist with positioning and securing heavy components.
- Maintain a clean and safe workshop.
- Follow all company safety procedures and PPE requirements.
- Perform general workshop duties as instructed.
Requirements
- Grade 10–12.
- Workshop or mining experience advantageous.
- Basic knowledge of tools and equipment.
- Physically fit and able to perform manual work.
- Willing to learn and follow instructions.
- Strong commitment to health and safety.
