Start free — we apply for you →In this role, you will be responsible for growing and managing your sales territory by maintaining long-term relationships with existing clients while actively identifying and securing new business opportunities within the life science and laboratory market. You will work closely with customers to understand their needs, promote our range of products and solutions, and consistently achieve sales targets.
Qualifications
- BSc degree in Life Sciences or related field.
- Molecular Biology knowledge or laboratory experience.
- Existing relationships with institutions such as: University of Pretoria, Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), Agricultural Research Council (ARC) and CSIR Would be advantageous.
Minimum Requirements
- Proven experience in life science or laboratory equipment sales.
- Valid drivers licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Fluent in both Afrikaans and English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Based in or near Pretoria
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve territory sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
- Identify new business opportunities and grow market presence within the assigned territory.
- Provide product information, technical support, and tailored solutions to customers.
- Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities within the company CRM system.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports and forecasts.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure excellent customer service and support.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and professional standards at all times.
