The Legal Specialist role exists to consult on data protection and compliance while providing practical, business-focused legal advice on commercial, corporate, and general legal matters . Working closely with sales, product, compliance, and operations teams, the role contributes to the business by supporting business initiatives and balancing legal requirements with company objectives to drive success . Key focus areas include identifying and assessing legal risks, ensuring contracts follow internal policies and processes, assisting with privacy-related matters, and supporting the legal aspects of compliance with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR . Key Responsibilities
- Partner with sales, product, compliance, and operations teams to support business initiatives .
- Assist in providing practical, business-focused legal advice on commercial, corporate, and general legal matters .
- Help identify and assess legal risks, and escalate where needed .
- Help ensure contracts follow internal policies and processes .
- Support the legal aspects of compliance with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and GDPR .
- Assist with data protection and privacy-related matters, including consulting around data protection and compliance .
