Introduction

A well-established, boutique legal practice in Lynnwood is looking to appoint an experienced Legal Secretary to join their close-knit team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a professional, supportive environment where teamwork, attention to detail, and excellent client service are highly valued.

The successful candidate will provide secretarial and administrative support within a civil litigation practice specialising in the drafting of Bills of Costs for attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial support to attorneys.
  • Prepare correspondence and legal documentation from dictation.
  • Work confidently on the CaseLines system.
  • Manage legal administration, filing, and document management.
  • Liaise professionally with clients and other legal professionals.
  • Ensure work is completed accurately and within required timeframes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Legal Secretary within a civil litigation environment.
  • Strong working knowledge of the CaseLines software programme (essential).
  • Excellent dictaphone typing skills.
  • Strong administrative and organisational abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional, mature, and client-focused approach.
  • Able to work independently while contributing positively to a small, collaborative team.
  • Available to start as soon as possible will be advantageous.

Working Hours

Office Based

  • Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 16:00
  • Friday: 08:00 – 13:00
