- A Master's degree in Technology Education.
- A relevant teaching qualification.
- Technology or an equivalent subject as a major subject at undergraduate level, which includes woodwork, mechanics and the engineering design process.
- Two 2 years' relevant lecturing experience at tertiary level or five 5 years' relevant teaching experience at school level
- Fluent in Afrikaans Please note that the position is based at the Wellington Campus where tuition is in Afrikaans. Candidates must be able to teach in Afrikaans.

- Fluency in English and Afrikaans BEd tuition in Wellington is through Afrikaans
- Perform other functions as may be assigned by the Head of Department
