KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS

  • Facilitate learning and teaching for modules offered in the Department of Logistics via contact sessions, as well as online sessions.
  • Conduct and publish research.
  • Supervise postgraduate students.
  • Perform academic administration duties.

CORE COMPETENCIES

  • In-depth theoretical knowledge and application of the Logistics principles.
  • Facilitate learning and teaching at undergraduate and experience at postgraduate level
  • Ability to contribute to knowledge creation through research and publications.
  • Administer modules to large numbers of students.

REQUIREMENTS

In order to be considered for the above post, candidates should meet the following requirements:

  • Must be in possession of a Masters degree in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management specialising in Logistics.
  • Holding or working towards a PhD qualification in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management would be an added advantage.
  • Have relevant experience in lecturing various Logistics modules at undergraduate levels. Experience at a postgraduate level will be an added advantage.
  • Have at least two years relevant and / or work-related lecturing or industry related experience in Logistics.
  • Publications in accredited journals and conference proceedings will be a strong recommendation.
