- Facilitate learning and teaching for modules offered in the Department of Logistics via contact sessions, as well as online sessions.
- Conduct and publish research.
- Supervise postgraduate students.
- Perform academic administration duties.
CORE COMPETENCIES
- In-depth theoretical knowledge and application of the Logistics principles.
- Facilitate learning and teaching at undergraduate and experience at postgraduate level
- Ability to contribute to knowledge creation through research and publications.
- Administer modules to large numbers of students.
REQUIREMENTS
In order to be considered for the above post, candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Must be in possession of a Masters degree in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management specialising in Logistics.
- Holding or working towards a PhD qualification in Logistics and/or Supply Chain Management would be an added advantage.
- Have relevant experience in lecturing various Logistics modules at undergraduate levels. Experience at a postgraduate level will be an added advantage.
- Have at least two years relevant and / or work-related lecturing or industry related experience in Logistics.
- Publications in accredited journals and conference proceedings will be a strong recommendation.
