- A Master's degree relevant to Human Movement/Physical Education and Life Skills Education
- A relevant teaching qualification preferably at primary school level
- Human Movement Physical Education and Life Skills or an equivalent subject as a major subject at the undergraduate level
- Two 2 years relevant lecturing experience at tertiary level or five 5 years' relevant teaching experience at the Intermediate Phase level
- Fluent in Afrikaans
RECOMMMENDATIONS
- A relevant doctoral degree
- Evidence of research outputs and supervision
- A coaching certificate in swimming and netball
Key Performance Areas / Principal Accountabilities
- Teaching Human Movement/Physical Education and Life Skills and the relevant methodologies in the Foundation and Intermediate Phases, which includes teaching swimming, netball, gymnastics, and dance.
