- Lecturer in Psychology including teaching, research supervision, clinical/therapeutic supervision, and publishing.
Responsibilities: Research including doctoral studies
- Data collection, analysis and write of research for publications
Teaching
- Teach both undergraduate and postgraduate courses
Postgraduate Supervision
- Postgraduate Supervision of Honours and Masters students
Clinical Supervision
- Prepare, conduct clinical supervision and facilitate report writing
Administration
- Contribute to departmental/faculty functioning commensurate with work division. This may include course/module co-ordination
Minimum requirements
- MA in Psychology with PhD in Psychology in progress
- Two 2 years' lecturing experience
- Knowledge of general psychology
- Knowledge of clinical/counselling psychology
- Knowledge of clinical/counselling supervision
- Knowledge of research and publication strategies
- Registration with the Health Professions Council of South Africa as a Counselling Psychologist
