- A Master's degree in English Language Teaching/English Language Studies. At least three 3 years of teaching experience at a tertiary institution, or five 5 years of relevant professional experience. Publications in peer-reviewed and/or non-peer-reviewed journals will be considered an asset.
Duties
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Supervise Honours and Master's students. Support curriculum development and improvement efforts. Publish academic work in accredited journals. Engage in community outreach activities. Utilise E-learning and digital platforms for instructional delivery.
For an appointment at the Junior Lecturer level
- An Honours Degree in English Language Teaching/English Language Studies.
Duties
- Teach undergraduate modules within the discipline of English Language Teaching/English Language Studies. Participate actively in community engagement projects to contribute to the University's broader social impact mandate. Serve on departmental, faculty, and University committees, task teams, or working groups as required. Contribute to relevant professional or voluntary associations to enhance the department's academic and community footprint
