A well-established and reputable South African retail organisation is seeking a Leasing Manager with extensive knowledge of the retail and commercial property industry. The successful candidate will possess strong leasing expertise, negotiation skills, and the ability to build relationships that support company growth. Duties & Responsibilities
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate (or equivalent)
- Tertiary Qualification will be an advantage
- 3 years’ experience in the commercial property leasing environment
Competencies
- Proficient in English and Afrikaans
- Strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills are essential
- Strong administrative skills in a commercial property environment
- Proficient in both English and Afrikaans
- Computer literate in MS Office
- Efficient and detail orientated who can work under pressure in a deadline orientated environment.
Duties (but not limited to)
- Negotiations of lease renewals
- Liaise with various Landlords and Portfolio Managers
- Check status quo and unique requirements/clauses of lease agreements
- Peruse and prepare lease agreements for signature
- Implement systems and control measures
- Responsible for maintaining and improve Tenant/ Landlord relations
- Property Administration.
- Professional support services to the team
