Introduction

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Leasing Administrator to join our Commercial Property team.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare, process, and manage lease agreements, renewals, addendums, and supporting documentation.
  • Maintain accurate tenant and lease records on internal property management systems.
  • Track lease expiry dates and assist with renewals and tenant retention initiatives.
  • Coordinate documentation between tenants, legal representatives, and leasing executives.
  • Assist with compiling leasing proposals, offers to lease, and tenant correspondence.
  • Maintain filing systems, databases, and property records.
  • Monitor outstanding documentation and ensure compliance with leasing procedures.
  • Prepare leasing reports, vacancy schedules, and administrative summaries.
  • Liaise with tenants regarding lease-related queries and documentation requirements.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Leasing and Property Management teams.
  • Assist with onboarding new tenants and coordinating required approvals and documentation.

Desired Experience & Qualification

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Relevant qualification in Property, Business Administration, Legal Administration, or related field will be advantageous.
  • 3–5 years' administrative experience within commercial retail property, leasing, or property management.
  • Experience working with lease agreements and commercial property documentation.
  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and property management systems.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
