Learning & Development Trainer

Job Description

• This role is ideal for someone who enjoys facilitating both classroom and virtual training, collaborating with stakeholders, and making a measurable impact on employee performance across the country.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and deliver engaging training programmes for new and existing employees.
• Facilitate both face-to-face and virtual training using a variety of learning platforms.
• Create and update training manuals, learning materials and online resources.
• Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve programmes based on feedback and business needs.
• Monitor trainee progress and provide coaching and ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate training records and prepare reports on training outcomes.
• Partner with management to ensure learning initiatives align with business objectives.
• Coordinate national travel and training schedules while managing training resources effectively.

Minimum Requirements

• Senior Certificate Matric.
• ETDP Certificate or Diploma essential.
• Minimum 3 years' experience as a Trainer within financial services, microlending, sales, customer service or debt collection.
• Experience developing and delivering e-learning content.
• Experience working with Learning Management Systems LMS and virtual training platforms.
• Strong understanding of training assessment and evaluation methodologies.
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
