- Coca-Cola Beverages Africa CCBA presents an exciting opportunity for a Lead: Operational IT, to join the Enabling Technology team at CCBA. The role will report to the Group Head: Technology Enablement.
Key Purpose
- To provide end-to-end ownership and governance of IT operations, ensuring reliable, secure and high-performing technology services while driving operational excellence, service maturity, risk management, vendor optimisation and continuous improvement.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Key Outputs and Accountabilities include, but not limited to:
- Stable & Resilient IT Services: Ensure reliable, secure and high-performing IT services that enable business operations and minimise disruption.
- Operational Excellence: Improve IT service effectiveness through proactive management, standardisation, automation and continuous improvement.
- Service Governance & Performance: Strengthen IT service ownership, governance, reporting and accountability to improve service delivery outcomes.
- Business Enablement: Enable business productivity and digital initiatives through scalable, fit-for-purpose technology operations.
- Risk & Compliance Management: Maintain secure and compliant IT environments that protect business operations and reduce operational risk.
- Vendor & Service Optimisation: Improve vendor performance, strengthen service partnerships and maximise value from technology investments.
- Operational Maturity & Capability Building: Develop IT operational maturity, enhance ways of working and build capability across teams and service partners.
Skills, Experience & Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification advantageous.
Experience
- 8–12 years' experience in IT operations, infrastructure, service management or technology delivery.
- Experience owning IT services and operational performance.
- Experience managing vendors and outsourced service providers.
- Experience supporting complex, multi-site operational environments.
