- Coca-Cola Beverages Africa CCBA presents an exciting opportunity for a Lead: Network & Telecoms, to join the Enabling Technology team at CCBA. The role will report to the Group Head: Technology Enablement.
Key Purpose
- To provide strategic and operational ownership of enterprise network and telecommunications services, ensuring secure, reliable and resilient connectivity while driving modernisation, service excellence, vendor optimisation and consistent network capability across markets.
Key Duties & Responsibilities Key Outputs and Accountabilities include, but not limited to:
- Resilient Connectivity Services: Ensure stable, secure and reliable network and telecom services that support business continuity and operational effectiveness.
- Network Modernisation: Deliver network transformation initiatives that improve scalability, agility, security and digital enablement.
- Service Excellence & Governance: Strengthen service ownership, governance, performance management and continuous improvement across network services.
- Operational Efficiency: Improve productivity through proactive monitoring, reduced service disruptions, standardisation and simplified ways of working.
- Vendor & Commercial Optimisation: Improve vendor performance, strengthen supplier governance and maximise value from technology investments.
- Risk & Cyber Resilience: Maintain secure and compliant network environments that protect business operations and enable resilience.
- Standardisation & Maturity Across Markets: Drive consistent network practices, capabilities and service maturity across countries and business units.
Skills, Experience & Education Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification advantageous.
Experience
- 8–12 years' experience in enterprise network, infrastructure and telecommunications environments.
- Experience owning network services and operational delivery.
- Experience managing vendors, managed service providers and technology partners.
- Experience supporting multi-site or multi-country environments.
- FMCG, manufacturing, logistics or large-scale operational environment experience advantageous.
