Job Title: Lead Design Engineer Start Date: 2026-09-01 - 2026-11-30 Vacancy Type: Permanent PTA026320 Sectors: Engineering Location: SA - Gauteng , Centurion Salary: R 83333 Brief: Lead Design Engineer - Centurion Salary: R83 333 CTC (including benefits) We are seeking a full-time, ECSA-registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) to head our civil engineering design office in Centurion Detail: Minimum requirements: BEng / BSc (Eng) in Civil Engineering from an ECSA-accredited institution (or equivalent, ECSA-assessed qualification) Registered as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) with the Engineering Council of South Africa — current and in good standing. Registration must be maintained throughout employment Membership of SAICE (South African Institution of Civil Engineering) advantageous 8+ years post-qualification civil engineering experience 5+ years in a senior design or technical leadership role Proven track record delivering municipal infrastructure projects from concept to close-out Full lifecycle experience in roads, stormwater, water reticulation, and sewer networks Tender documentation and CIDB-registered contractor environment experience Strong working knowledge of SANS, COTO, TRH/TMH, and CSIR 'Red Book' codes Hydraulic and hydrological modelling skills for stormwater, water, and sewer networks Pavement and geometric design skills for municipal and provincial roads Proficiency in civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil3D / iDAS) and hydraulic packages Sound understanding of construction methods, costing, and contracts (GCC, FIDIC, NEC) Competence in MS Office and project/document management tools Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites Willingness to undergo reference, qualification, and ECSA registration verification Consultant: Chantene Potgieter - Dante Personnel Pretoria Silver Lakes Apply via our website www.dantesa.co.za If you do not hear from us within 5 days, please accept that your application was unsuccessful show more...
