- We are seeking a full-time, ECSA-registered Professional Engineer Pr Eng to head our civil engineering design office in Centurion
Minimum requirements
- BEng / BSc Eng in Civil Engineering from an ECSA-accredited institution or equivalent, ECSA-assessed qualification
- Registered as a Professional Engineer Pr Eng with the Engineering Council of South Africa — current and in good standing. Registration must be maintained throughout employment
- Membership of SAICE South African Institution of Civil Engineering advantageous
- 8+ years post-qualification civil engineering experience
- 5+ years in a senior design or technical leadership role
- Proven track record delivering municipal infrastructure projects from concept to close-out
- Full lifecycle experience in roads, stormwater, water reticulation, and sewer networks
- Tender documentation and CIDB-registered contractor environment experience
- Strong working knowledge of SANS, COTO, TRH/TMH, and CSIR 'Red Book' codes
- Hydraulic and hydrological modelling skills for stormwater, water, and sewer networks
- Pavement and geometric design skills for municipal and provincial roads
- Proficiency in civil design software e.g., AutoCAD Civil3D / iDAS and hydraulic packages
- Sound understanding of construction methods, costing, and contracts GCC, FIDIC, NEC
- Competence in MS Office and project/document management tools
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites
- Willingness to undergo reference, qualification, and ECSA registration verification
