A well-established automotive retail and distribution company based in Centurion is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Lead BI Developer to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a senior leadership role within the Business Intelligence function, requiring both deep technical ability and strong people management skills.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Drive and maintain the company's data and BI strategy
- Build, manage, and optimise Power BI dashboards and reports
- Lead and mentor a team of BI Developers and Data Engineers
- Translate data findings into business decisions for executive stakeholders
- Manage data warehousing, data lake architecture, and database design
- Ensure data governance, quality, and security compliance
- Work closely with PMO, ExCo, and departmental heads on reporting needs
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Degree or Diploma in Information Systems or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a BI development role ;
- 2+ years in a lead capacit y
- Advanced Power BI skills – non-negotiable
- Strong MS SQL, NoSQL, Python / R
- Data warehouse design and Azure cloud knowledge
- API integration experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
