Role Purpose

• As part of our Youth Development Strategy, we have adopted various initiatives to drive positive social impact and to directly impact unemployment of youth.
• In alignment with this there are multiple opportunities available within Momentum Investments across various areas where we would like to offer unemployed youth a 12-month opportunity to gain experience, this is in alignment and in partnership with the Youth Employment Services YES. Please be advised that successful candidates will qualify for a monthly stipend.
• The learner will gain practical exposure to the Learning and Development function while supporting the team across learning-related activities and initiatives.

• BCom degree, in Human Resource Management, Human Resources Development, Business Management, Learning and Development / Business Administration.

Duties & Responsibilities

Learning & Development Support

• Gain exposure within the Momentum Investments Learning and Development team.
• Assist with learning and development activities and initiatives.
• Support the team with learning-related projects and activities.

Learning Administration & Coordination

• Provide support with learning administration and coordination.
• Assist with organising learning activities, workshops and related requirements.
• Support the maintenance and updating of learning records and resources.

Learning Content & Materials

• Assist with the preparation, organisation and updating of learning materials and resources.
• Gain exposure to instructional design, e-learning and digital learning activities where applicable.

Professional Development

• Demonstrate a willingness to learn, take initiative and apply feedback to improve performance.
• Engage in opportunities to develop personal and professional skills, including communication, teamwork and problem-solving.
