Duties and Responsibilities
Operators are responsible for the set-up and operation of laser cutting machines to produce products.
Operators must monitor machine cutting performance and utilization.
Check the quality of products manufactured by machine and notify supervisor of all process issues.
Understands start-up and shut down for laser machines.
Diagnose machining problems while performing jobs, making modifications as needed.
Requirements
Matric certificate or equivilant.
Technically minded with a strong aptitude for hands-on machine work.
Quick learner who can grasp operational processes rapidly.
Seeking long-term growth within the company rather than temporary employment or pursuing external studies.
Valid driver's license.
Collaborate effectively and work well within a team environment.
Display natural leadership capabilities and initiative.
Fully willing and available to work flexible rotational shifts.
Prior experience with machine operating is beneficial and advantageous.
Handle feedback professionally and accept constructive criticism.
Must live in George or surrounding areas for in person interview.
