- Receive, verify, capture, and process laboratory samples using the Laboratory Information Management System LIMS, ensuring accurate handling and traceability.
- Prepare and process samples in accordance with laboratory procedures, accredited methods, and quality standards.
- Maintain laboratory records, inventory, consumables, equipment, and work areas to support efficient operations.
- Perform laboratory activities within approved competency levels while ensuring compliance with ISO 17025:2017, SANAS, and quality management requirements.
- Support continuous improvement, stock control, and health, safety, environmental, and company compliance initiatives.
Requirements
- National Senior Certificate Candidates with a Diploma in analytical Chemistry will receive preference
- Knowledge of laboratory hygiene, ISO 17025, and quality standards.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; LIMS experience is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, technical skills, and the ability to work under pressure.
