Start free — we apply for you →Purpose of Role Provide overall leadership and management of the mine laboratory, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant analytical services to support geology, mining, processing, and environmental functions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the establishment, commissioning, and operation of the on-site laboratory. Develop and implement laboratory systems, procedures, and quality management frameworks (ISO/IEC 17025). Manage laboratory budgets, staffing, equipment procurement, and maintenance programmes. Ensure accurate and timely analysis of grade control, metallurgical, and environmental samples. Drive QA/QC programmes, including CRMs, blanks, duplicates, and inter-laboratory checks. Ensure compliance with safety, health, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Produce laboratory performance reports for management and stakeholders Closing date: 11 August 2026
