Salary: R7 500 per month

Type: 2-Year Internship
1. JOB SPECIFICATIONS /REQUIREMENTS:
1.	Minimum Education (Formal Qualification): SAQA recognised tertiary qualification with applicable subjects (microbiology, plant pathology, biochemistry, genetics, botany or similar).
2.	Minimum Education (Short-courses attended): None required
3.	Minimum Technical Knowledge: Microbiology, plant pathology, botany, analytical methods such as conventional microbiological, PCR-based, biochemistry, serology (ELISA-based).
4.	Minimum Experience: In-house training, evaluation and declaration of competence.
5.	Minimum Skill: Practical laboratory analysis; including methods and techniques such as PCR, classical/conventional microbiology, biochemistry, serology; meticulous in following and execution of methods; communication to peers, subordinates and clients; computer literacy that includes Microsoft Office 365; report writing; effectively planning and scheduling of routine and high throughput tasks – time management.
6.	Physical abilities with or without reasonable accommodation: Free from colour blindness or colour vision deficiencies to ensure accurate identification of and differentiation between colours; receiving, handling and processing of potato samples require that one must be able to lift objects weighing up to 15kg and taking in positions that require Email CV.
