The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key customer relationships, driving sales growth, and developing strategic opportunities within the food and beverage manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have strong sales and CRM experience, excellent communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to work independently while achieving targets. A Matric qualification, valid driver's license, and own reliable vehicle are essential, with industry experience and knowledge of MS Office, CRM systems, and Pastel being advantageous. Detail: A recent professional profile photo is to accompany your application EMPLOYMENT TYPE : Permanent SECTOR : Sales BASIC SALARY : R30 000 – R45 000 + Commission + Benefits START DATE : A.S.A.P REQUIREMENTS: Sales experience within the food and beverage manufacturing industry (raw materials) would be advantageous. Matric / Senior Certificate qualification is essential. Industry-related experience or experience within a similar company would be advantageous. Strong sales and customer relationship management (CRM) skills. Excellent selling, negotiation, and customer engagement abilities. Professional appearance with excellent verbal communication skills. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Team-oriented individual with the ability to work independently. Goal-driven, resilient, and self-motivated. Strong administrative and organisational skills. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and meet deadlines. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook; experience with CRM systems advantageous. Knowledge of Pastel would be advantageous. Valid driver's license and own reliable vehicle required. DUTIES: Maintain existing client relationships and identify opportunities to secure new business. Present a range of products and solutions to clients based on their needs. Develop and maintain strong relationships with the existing client base to drive sales growth. Expand the customer base through proactive business development activities. Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive client experience. Manage after-sales service and handle client queries professionally and efficiently. Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective sales strategies and customer engagement. Submit weekly sales reports and client visit reports. Participate in regular sales meetings and provide updates on activities and performance. Be willing to travel nationally as required. Report directly to the Directors.
