- We're looking for a junior videographer who is practical, technically capable, organised, and eager to grow. This is not a film industry role or a highly conceptual creative position.
- We need someone who can produce clear, useful, well-shot content that supports marketing, product education, and customer engagement. The work should feel commercial, accessible, and grounded.
The Role
- Run the content pipeline for marketing, product education and customer engagement: product demonstrations, how-to and troubleshooting videos, promotional edits, branch and event coverage, and platform-native short-form for Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, WhatsApp and web.
What You'll Do At Adendorff
- Plan, shoot and edit product-led video in-house and on location, often solo;
- Own post-production: grading, audio, captions, motion graphics, multi-format exports;
- Publish across platforms; keep the content calendar honest;
- Read analytics and act: what worked, why, and what we make next;
- Turn one shoot into a family of assets; set the quality bar for the brand.
What Good Looks Like first 6 months
- The pipeline runs without chasing: briefs in, published assets out, on time, at a standard the brand can stand behind. Product demos that make a machine understandable to a tradesperson in under a minute. Measurable lift in reach and engagement, and they can tell you why it happened.
Essentials
- 2+ years producing video professionally, with a portfolio personally shot and edited;
- Strong command of Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve, plus short-form fluency;
- Competent solo shooter: camera, lighting and audio that make a warehouse look deliberate;
- Motion graphics and caption competence After Effects or equivalent;
- Platform literacy: has published content and owned the numbers.
What Sets You Apart
- In-house content for a physical-product brand; an audience grown with numbers you can defend; photography, drone or gimbal work; comfort filming in workshops, warehouses and events; genuine interest in tools and machines.
Why Adendorff
- Impact: Your work is seen daily across South Africa;
- Growth: Exposure to packaging, retail marketing, and AI-driven workflows;
- Stability: A privately owned, South African-built retailer with a long-term mindset.
